Babymonster puts out pop ballad single 'Deserve'

YG Entertainment said Babymonster's digital single 'Deserve' comes out at 1 p.m. on the 23rd. The pop ballad features synthesizer melodies and a retro mood, with lyrics about looking back on past memories and wishing the other person happiness. The group will perform it live on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 24th and SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 25th.

Why it matters YG said the song extends Babymonster's musical range beyond hip-hop and dance into pop ballad.
