As of Oct. 23, 2026, one K-pop release has an officially announced December date: NMIXX releases its Japanese debut best-of album N=MIXX on Wednesday, Dec. 9. JYP Entertainment announced the date on July 31; the album has 12 tracks, including "Blue Valentine" and Japanese versions of earlier songs, and comes out through Warner Music Japan.

The band Hi-Fi Un!corn is continuing a monthly single project with a new song on the last Friday of each month, but no title or date has been announced for its December song. Most November dates were likewise announced two to six weeks before release. The table below lists only dates confirmed in press reports of agency announcements, with a source number on every entry.

## What is known about NMIXX's N=MIXX on December 9

NMIXX makes its official Japan debut on Dec. 9 with the best-of album N=MIXX. JYP Entertainment announced it on July 31, when pre-orders opened. The album has 12 tracks, including "Blue Valentine" and Japanese versions of earlier songs, and is released in Japan by Warner Music Japan. The group's Japan debut showcase, NMIXX JAPAN DEBUT SHOWCASE "N=MIXX," takes place before release on Nov. 7–8 at Yoyogi National Gymnasium First Gymnasium in Tokyo and after release on Dec. 12–13 at Kuroko-kun Hall (formerly Nippon Gaishi Hall) in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. The showcase dates were announced at the group's world-tour show at Keio Arena Tokyo on Aug. 9. [1,2,3,4]

## Expected in December without a date: Hi-Fi Un!corn's monthly single

FNC Entertainment's band Hi-Fi Un!corn launched its monthly digital single project H!dden Color with "라일라" on Jan. 30. The agency said the band would release a new Korean-language single on the last Friday of each month, and the ninth song, "웃는다," came out on Sept. 25. Under that rule the December song would fall on Friday, Dec. 25, but no report checked for this page announces a date or title for it, so the table lists it as "date not announced." [5,6]

## Where December plans meet year-end stages: AAA on Dec. 5–6, Music Bank in Japan on Dec. 12–13, SBS Gayo Daejeon on Dec. 24–25

- Dec. 5–6: AAA 2026 (Asia Artist Awards) at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan. The singer lineup announced by the organizers on Sept. 15 includes ATEEZ, RESCENE and LNGSHOT, all of which release new music in November. [9]
- Dec. 12–13: 2026 MUSIC BANK GLOBAL FESTIVAL IN JAPAN, organized by KBS and Any Corporation, at MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) in Tokyo. Kim Jae-won hosts both days, joined by Sana (MISAMO) on Dec. 12 and Jang Won-young (IVE) on Dec. 13. After a third lineup announcement on Oct. 16, Dec. 12 lists 12 acts including Nayeon, ATEEZ, aespa, RIIZE, TWS and NCT WISH, and Dec. 13 lists 13 including Stray Kids, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, xikers, BOYNEXTDOOR, ZEROBASEONE, RESCENE and CORTIS. NMIXX holds its Japan debut showcase in Nagoya on the same two days. [4,7,8]
- Dec. 24–25: the 30th-anniversary 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon runs over two days for the first time, at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang. SBS released a 30th-anniversary concept poster on Oct. 21 and said the first lineup would be announced soon; no performers or hosts had been announced by then. Dec. 25, the date Hi-Fi Un!corn's monthly rule points to, is the show's second day. [6,10,11]
- No 2026 date or venue for the KBS Song Festival or MBC Gayo Daejejeon appears in the reports checked for this page. All award-show dates are collected in the separate guide on 2026 year-end award shows.

## When November's dates were announced: a yardstick for reading December

Most dates in the November edition were announced two to six weeks before release: RESCENE (Nov. 3) on Sept. 22, TWS (Nov. 2) on Oct. 7, ATEEZ (Nov. 13) on Oct. 8, NCT DREAM (Nov. 9) on Oct. 16 and UNCHILD (Nov. 5) on Oct. 22. NMIXX's Dec. 9, announced more than four months ahead, is a Japanese release. On the same spacing, many early-December dates would be announced from late October onward, so the short December list as of Oct. 23 is not yet evidence of few December releases. [1,12,13,14,15,16]

## How to read this calendar

Only dates confirmed by press reports of agency notices or official social media are listed, each with its source number below. Hi-Fi Un!corn has announced only the project rule of releasing on the last Friday of each month, not a date for its December song, so it is listed at the end of the table as "date not announced." Japanese releases are included only for acts managed by Korean agencies. The release time for NMIXX's N=MIXX is not given in the reports checked. This page will be updated when new dates or titles are announced or a release is delayed. November's releases are in "November 2026 K-pop comeback dates" and October's in the October edition; the series continues monthly in the same format. [1,5,6]
